LIVE BLOG: London’s tube srikes

2010-10-04T14-35-54 -- DSC_0051Tonight at 9.30pm marks the start of the first set of two planned 48-hour London tube strikes that will see millions of Londoners having to find a different way to work tomorrow as a number of tube workers go on strike.

The wider media has predicted it will cause complete chaos with overpacked buses, underqualified ‘volunteer ambassadors’ filling in roles at the tube stations that will remain open, and the financial cost of the strikes to the city being huge.

Well, we plan to monitor what it’s really like out there – curating people’s commuting nightmares, thoughts on the strikes, and well whatever else happens…
